2016 Summer Camps

Glow-in-the-Dark Art Camp- Part II (4-9 years) Back by popular demand with all new projects! These projects will ROCK your child's world long after the lights go out at night. You guessed it, all the project we will create at this camp will glow-in-the-dark! How cool is that?!?!?! We will be working with a variety of different art supplies including clay, paint and other luminescent materials to create masterpieces your child will be ready to show off in the dark! Monday-Thursday 6/13-6/16, 1:00-4:00 or Monday-Thursday 8/29-9/1, 9:00-12:00 Star Wars Art Camp - Part II (5-12 years) Back by popular demand with all new projects! The galaxy was divided by war and only the efforts of the Jedi and clone troopers could save the republic! Star Wars^� has inspired an out of this world art camp. Your young Jedi will sculpt Jabba the Hutt, create a universe inside a snow globe, draw Star Wars characters and more. This is the coolest art camp in the galaxy! May the force be with you! Monday-Thursday 6/20-6/23, 1:00-4:00 The Messiest Art Camp Ever!- Part III (5-12 years) Back by popular demand with all new projects that take mess-making to the next level! We'll paint with plaster, tie dye, make paper mache birds and fling paint like Jackson Pollock. We will even learn some art terms along the way. These are not projects to tackle at home- leave the mess with us. After all, art can be a marvelously messy good time! Monday-Thursday 6/27-6/30, 1:00-4:00 or Monday-Thursday 7/25-7/28, 9:00-12:00 3D Art Adventure Camp (5-12 years) Whoa! This art will leap off the page! Your child will enjoy learning ways to create three dimensional art. They will work with a variety of art supplies such as paper, paint, and clay to create 3D masterpieces. In addition, each student will receive their very own pair of 3D glasses and a 3D Doodle Booklet to take home with them at the end of the camp. Monday-Thursday 7/11-7/14, 9:00-12:00 or Monday-Thursday 8/8-8/11, 1:00-4:00 How to Draw Cartoon Animals Camp (5-12 years) Kids, have you ever wished you were better at drawing cartoons? During this camp, we'll guide you step-by-step through the creation of super silly (and cute) animals! From cute cuddly puppy dogs to happy hedgehogs, you will be impressed with how great your drawings turn out! Each child will receive their own How to Draw Cartoon Animals booklet to take home! Monday-Thursday 7/18-7/21, 1:00-4:00 or Monday-Thursday 8/15-8/18, 9:00-12:00 Pajama Party Camp (4-9 years) Roll out of bed and come to camp in your jammies! Why? Because every kid is just a little bit more creative while wearing their slippers! These art projects are anything but ordinary. We'll create turtles, trees, masks and more magnificent masterpieces that are designed to educate and inspire your child as they learn about the wonders of art. We will sculpt, collage, print, paint and (of course) create a huge mess as we explore basic art concepts- all while in our P.J.'s. Dates: Monday-Thursday 8/1-8/4, 9:00-12:00 LEGO Star Wars Camp (4-9 years) Back by popular demand! LEGO^� bricks and Star Wars^�- what an amazing combination! We'll work as a team to paint a huge mural complete with stars, planets and far, far away galaxies. We'll build star fighters out of LEGO bricks, stage an intergalactic battle and make a Darth Vader bobble head. We'll even make our own lightsaber. We'll work with LEGO bricks, paint, clay and other art supplies to createmasterpieces your young Jedi will love! Dates: Monday-Thursday 8/1-8/4, 1:00-4:00

2016 Summer Workshops

How to Draw- Angry Bird (5-12 years) Our How to Draw classes are great summertime boredom busters! Three hours of step-by-step drawing instruction is a dream come true for any kid. The drawing supplies and project ideas will be different every class, so sign up as often as you like without worries of repeats! This is a drop off class, 3 hours of me-time for mom! Friday 6/10, 1:00-4:00 Father's Day Gift Making Workshop (18 months-6 years) What dad wouldn't love a card made just for him? Let your little one surprise dad this Father's Day with a hand-made card that tells him what a great "catch" he is. You and your child will paint, cut, and print to create this fisherman themed card just for dad. Come and create right along with your child. All children must be accompanied by a caregiver. Friday 6/17, 9:00-10:00 Father's Day Gift Making Workshop (4-9 years) Show your dad how much you love him by making a Father's Day gift with your own two hands! We will let dad know that he is quite the "catch" by creating him a "trophy" sized gift. We will work with air-dry clay and paint to create a fish that is sure to put a smile on dad's face. Friday 6/17, 10:15-12:15 Studio Time (18 months-9 years) Looking for a fun activity to do with your child? Studio Time is a flexible drop-in class that allows young artists unstructured time to create. Every class, we will set up 4 fun art stations with lots of cool art materials and projects. Sorry, this is not a drop off class. Children are welcome to stay as long as they wish. Children must be accompanied by a caregiver. Friday 6/17, 1:30-3:30 Date Night- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (3-9 years) Do you have plans that don't include your little ones? Do you want to see a movie that isn't animated or enjoy a dinner that doesn't include french fries? Sign your kids up for their own night out. Come spend the night with Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello and Raphael! During this class, your child will create a portrait of their favorite Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle. Saturday 6/18, 5:30-8:30 Signing up siblings? Sign up additional children for 50% off! Me Time for Mom & Dad- Tie-Dye Party (3-9 years) Need a 3 hour vacation from your little one? Drop off your child at Kidcreate and go shopping, read a book, grab some coffee or run errands without your little helper. We'll keep your child busy creating while you enjoy some time to yourself. This is NOT a project you want your kids doing at home! Send your kids to class to make a tie-dyed shirt they will wear all year long. Saturday 6/25, 9:00-12:00 Signing up siblings? Sign up additional children for 50% off! Studio Time (18 months-6 years) Looking for a fun activity to do with your child? Don't bring your pillow as there will be no time for napping; we'll be too busy creating. Friday 7/29, 9:00-12:00 Signing up siblings? Sign up additional children for 50% off! Mommy's Time Off- Tie-Dye Party (3-9 years) This drop off class is great for mommies, daddies or whoever wants a little break! Let your kids express their creativity while you enjoy some time to yourself. This is NOT a project you want your kids doing at home! Send your kids to class to make a tie-dyed shirt they will wear all year long. Children must bring their own white t-shirt to class. Friday 8/5, 9:00-12:00 Signing up siblings? Sign up additional children for 50% off! 3D Minecraft Masterpiece Workshop (5-12 years) Your Minecraft^� master will love this class! They will construct a 3D diorama of a Minecraft scene. But that's not all! The kids will get to create Minecraft characters to add to their diorama out of Model Magic^� clay. Steve would love this class! Friday 8/5, 1:00-4:00 Pajama Party Workshop- Messy Fun! (18 months-6 years) Roll out of bed and come to class! We'll make art in our Jammies! Will the kids be more creative while wearing their bunny slippers? Come and find out as you create right along with your child. All children must be accompanited by a caregiver. Saturday 8/6, 9:30-10:30 Studio Time (18 months-9 years) Looking for a fun activity to do with your child? Studio Time is a flexible drop-in class that allows young artists unstructured time to create. Every class, we will set up 4 fun art stations with lots of cool art materials and projects. Sorry, this is not a drop off class. Children are welcome to stay as long as they wish. Children must be accompanied by a caregiver. Friday 8/12, 1:30-3:30 Date Night- Canvas and Cookies: Messy Monster (3-9 years) Do you have plans that don't include your little ones? Do you want to see a movie that isn't animated or enjoy a dinner that doesn't include french fries? Sign your kids up for their own night out. Wow! This is going to be a messy (and delicious) one! We'll use plaster and paint to create an imaginary monster on a canvas board. Then we will take a cookie break! Kidcreate Studio will serve cookies as a snack during this class. Yum! Saturday 8/13, 5:30-8:30 Signing up siblings? Sign up additional children for 50% off! Me Time for Mom & Dad- Splat-tacular (3-9 years) Need a 3 hour vacation from your little one?
