Summer Art Camps and Classes

Art Zoo Camp (3-6 years) We’re going to the zoo, zoo, zoo. How about you, you, you? Join us as we explore the wonder and beauty of zoo animals. We will take a virtual zoo tour each day as we learn about animals and create animal inspired art. We’ll use a variety of art materials to create “wild” projects the children can look at, play with, or wear. Please pack a nut free snack and a drink for your child each day.

Art Play Camp (3-6 years) Back by popular demand! Clay play day, print making fun, capturing bubbles and building roller coasters are just a few reasons why art play is the best! Each day, we will explore a new creative art experience as your young artist discovers a variety of interesting ways to play at making art. We’ll paint, sculpt, make collages and costumes too!  Please pack a nut free snack and a drink for your child each day.

Mommy’s Time – Lots of Legos Art Class (4-9 years) Mom, you deserve a break! Let your kids express their creativity while you enjoy your morning. We'll get loco with Legos and silly with silly putty as we use our Lego building skills to create awesome art. Please pack a nut free snack and a drink for your child.

Lego Star Wars Art Camp (4-9 years) Legos^® and Star Wars^® - what an amazing combination! We’ll work as a team to paint a huge mural complete with stars, planets and far, far away galaxies. We’ll build star fighters out of Legos, stage an intergalactic battle and make a Lego Darth Vader bobble head. We’ll even make our own light saber. We’ll work with Legos, paint, clay and other art supplies to create these masterpieces that your young Jedi will love! Register early for this popular camp!  Please pack a nut free snack and a drink for your child each day.    

Scooby Dooby Doo Art Class (3-6 years) “Scooby Scooby Doo, where are you?” We have some art to do now! Come and create a portrait of our favorite puppy pal out of clay and paint. Please pack a nut free snack and a drink for your child.

Dinomania Art Camp (3-6 years) Is your child crazy about dinosaurs? Tyrannosaurus Rex, Triceratops and Diplodocus - they love them all! The kids will learn cool facts about our extinct friends and be inspired to create fantastic works of dino art. We’ll create fossils, dino eggs, dioramas and more! A variety of different art materials such as papier mache, clay and paint will be used as we explore these enormous creatures. Please pack a nut free snack and drink for your child each day.   

Angry Birds and More App Art Camp (5-12 years) Register early for this popular camp! "Slingshot" your young artist into the incredible world of art at this fun camp! Your child will learn about the artistry of top grossing app games as they are inspired by their favorite smart phone games like Angry Birds, Doodle Jump, Plants vs. Zombies and Fruit Ninja. We’ll work with air-dry clay, Model Magic and paint to create these masterpieces!  Please pack a nut free snack and a drink for your child each day.

Lego Loco Art Camp (4-9 years) Can’t get enough of your Legos^® at home?  Want to be inspired and challenged to create new and exciting Lego art? Use your awesome Lego building skills to construct a city, imaginary creatures, race cars, and plenty of original works of art all out of Legos!  We won’t use just Legos. We’ll also use clay, paint, and tons of imagination to create these challenging projects. Each child will receive a disposable camera to photograph his or her amazing Lego creations! Please pack a nut free snack and a drink for your child each day. 

Harry Potter Art Camp (5-12 years) Come and experience the magic of Hogwarts, Kidcreate style! Whether you are Muggle or Magical, these projects inspired by J. K. Rowling’s beloved books will be sure to capture your young artist’s imagination and enthusiasm.  We’ll explore a wide variety of art materials as we create magical masterpieces! Please pack a nut free snack and drink for your child each day.

Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star Art Class (18 months-6 years) Come and sing along with us as we create art inspired by this favorite nursery rhyme. A little Kidcreate magic (glow in the dark paint!) will enable your young artist’s masterpiece to really come to life after dark! Come and create right along with your child, children must be accompanied by a caregiver.

Pinch, Slab, Coil Clay Camp (4-9 years) It's time for your young artist to roll up their sleeves, put on an apron and play with clay! The children will use a variety of tools and techniques to make animals, beads, bowls and much more. We will work with both air-dry clay and Model Magic. We will even mix up some batches of homemade clay with crazy ingredients like Kool Aid! The children will use their fingers to Pinch, assemble a Slab, and create Coils as they learn the basics of working with Clay. This is a great camp for siblings to take together! Please pack a nut free snack and a drink for your child each day.
